Still Alive!
Thursday, July 26th, 2007For those that were wondering… I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. I have just been kind of busy. But I am posting to kind of catch everything up.
Work… Things have been a little tough at work lately. We have been getting a lot of cancellation notices. Though I did get my own key for the Hi-Lo. We also received a phone call the other day of a possible high priced job. We have to bid on it but we have done a lot of work for this company in the past and my boss doesn’t think we will have any problems getting it. So keep your fingers crossed for us.
School…
I know what you are thinking, it’s the summer why is she posting about school? Well I had to register the other week. I will be taking an English class… this is the one that I dropped last semester. I just hope I have a better go round with the class this time.
Fun/Friends…
This weekend my friend Cris was in town. She arrived Friday and left this morning (Wednesday). Friday we just kind of chilled out and I dyed her hair.
Then Saturday we did a few things around the house and then went to the Brighton area to hang out with our friends Mike and Jeremy. The four of us went and played some put-put golf. It was a tight race between Mike, Jer and my self. But I think Mike ended up winning. After that we went to an arcade. Mike and Jer played a few games and then we headed off to the Buffalo Wild Wings. The boys go up there for trivia on Saturdays and Cris and I help their team to a victory. It was great spending time with the boys. They are always a lot of fun.
Sunday Cris and I headed out and did some shopping. Then we went around the city of Center Line taking picture for an art project I have been wanting to do for some time now. After that we headed back to the house and just hung out. We ended up watching a movie and went to bed due to me needing to get up for work in the morning.
Monday I went to work and then when I got home Cris and I just watched TV and a movie.
Tuesday Cris and I went to the Styx and Def Leppard concert. It was a great concert. Both bands still know how to rock. There was an opening act called the Matt Austin Band. They are a local band and had one a contest to open up for the two bigger acts. They only played three songs but they were good.
Well that is all for right now. Sorry that it has been so long between posts. I will try to get better at posting things more often.
